Thinking About Money

This site is a different kind of personal finance site.

It is a site for people who want to improve their financial situation – significantly. Those interested in digging through the staggaring amount of conflicting advice to figure out what it really takes to become seriously comfortable, if not wealthy. And to do so without, at the same time, becoming obsessed with money (and in doing so turning into an obnoxious jerk).

You’ll find no secrets here, no miracle investments, no sales pitches, no get rich quick schemes, no stock recommendations.

Just one guy who’s already learned some things about money – enough to realize that he has a lot more to learn. They say the best way to learn is to teach, and I believe that, which is why I created this site – to chronicle my journey and share what I learn, as I learn it. You can find out more about who I am and why I started this site on the About page.

But for now, let the journey begin.
