Commentary on Kiyosaki
I’d heard of the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” years ago, even seen the author pitching it on T.V. To tell the truth, it had always been filed in the back of my mind as “yet another get rich quick book.” Finally, a good friend recommended it to me and told me about a few of it’s ideas. So I decided to take a chance on it. What an eye opener. I then went on to read his next two books.
Now here’s the funny thing. I didn’t actually learn anything from the books in terms of business or finance. I don’t know that I really found many new ideas. But the overall philosophy and approach was fascinating. I found that many of the things I already knew and believed suddenly fit together in a way that made sense. What’s more, at a time of my life where I was looking for something new to try, the books definitely inspired me to take the next step in my own education (and in doing so also inspired me to create this site).
I found I had a lot to say about the books, and when that happens, I start writing (the curse of an author). Next thing you know, I had written over 20 pages – perfect length for an e-book.
I think you will find it a worthwhile read, whether you have read the Rich Dad books or not. If you haven’t, I think you’ll find them intriguing enough to give them a try, and will find them even more valuable having read this e-book.
To read the e-book, download the PDF file here. The e-book has a nominal price of $1.99, but it’s based on a trust system – you only pay if you think it worthwhile.
